Our History

The Early Days

George and Nancy Bravante started their farming journey in 1993, the same year they got married, by purchasing their first vineyard. This initial step marked the beginning of Bravante Farm Management. Motivated by a shared interest in agriculture, they relocated to the Central Valley, planning to raise their family in close connection with the land.

Expansion

Over time, the Bravantes expanded their operations beyond the vineyard to include citrus and table grapes. Their enjoyment of farming was not just a passion but became the foundation of a growing business. With each new parcel of land, they increased their ability to produce high-quality crops, turning their farming operation into a significant agricultural enterprise.

Building a Business

Their success in farming led to establishing a large farming company and a produce sales operation. The Bravantes combined their love for the land with effective business strategies, which allowed them to build a sustainable and prosperous company. Their expertise in agriculture grew with their business, enhancing their reputation in the farming community.

Today and Beyond

Now, decades later, Bravante Farm Management not only tends to the Bravante family’s lands but also manages farmland for others. In addition to table grapes and citrus, Bravante now manages wine grapes, stone fruit and tree nuts all across California. This expansion reflects their commitment to sharing their expertise and passion for agriculture with a broader audience. The Bravantes and their team bring decades of experience to their partners’ lands, offering the same level of care and dedication that started with their first vineyard.

Looking Forward

Bravante Farm Management continues to grow, guided by the principles of hard work, dedication to the land, and a focus on sustainable farming practices. We are proud of our history and are committed to bringing our wealth of experience to both our family-owned lands and those of our partners. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to fostering growth, sustainability, and success in all our agricultural endeavors.
